Welcome to the PAGE Foundation website

The Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation was established in 1985 by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators, the largest professional association of teachers in Georgia.  The mission of the PAGE Foundation is to promote world-class education for all of Georgia’s children through initiatives that recruit, develop, retain and recognize highly accomplished teachers.

In order to fulfill our mission, the Foundation sponsors a variety of programs that offer support to aspiring and veteran teachers and raise student achievement through challenging and competitive academic programs.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, the PAGE Foundation promotes a world-class education for all of Georgia's children through initiatives that recruit, develop, retain and recognize highly accomplished teachers.  Each year the Foundation programs reach out across the state of Georgia to provide programs, recognitions, and connections to our students and our educators.  Some of the Foundation highlights from 2013 include:

  • At the 2013 United States Academic Decathlon Championships, Larry He of Parkview High School, representing Georgia, won a gold medal in Essay, which is a first for Georgia.
  • 2013 saw a record setting membership in programs that support our pre-service teachers.  More than 15,000 middle school, high school, and college students participated in the Foundation's Future Educators Association (FEA) and Student PAGE (SPAGE) programs.
  • 511 teachers were recognized as STAR Teachers.  3 teachers were nominated twice by more than one student!

The PAGE Foundation receives its support from PAGE members, private foundations, individual donors, and corporations.  Donations to the Foundation support the Foundation's programs as well as PAGE's Professional Learning Initiatives.  Consider supporting the PAGE Foundation today!
